This math course is designed for students who are below grade level in the mathematics skills. 

This subject area has been most influenced by the pandemic. Students have gaps from over a year and a half due to the sudden transitions back and forth from distance learning to in-person. 

Due to this unfortunate yet inevitable sequence of events, students are faced with pressure and discouragement from falling behind. 

Thankfully, we understand that math is not a difficult subject to catch up on, and we are determined to see students at grade level in the quickest and most painless way possible. 

We use the common core curriculum given in the Fullerton School District. We have access to their entire textbook and curriculum as well as test study guides. Students start from the level they are currently at, and they work their way forward by learning critical math skills. We focus on drilling fluency in primarily all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We believe that these skills are necessary to develop critical thinking and higher order thinking skills in math.
